DESCRIPTION:The Slauson Corridor Transit Neighborhood Plan (TNP) is a Los Angeles City Planning effort focused along LA Metro’s future “Rail-to-Rail” bicycle and pedestrian path that will replace the unused rail tracks on Slauson Ave. \nThrough zoning and land use regulations\, the Slauson Corridor TNP aims to activate the future bike path and plan for jobs and housing around transit. The TNP envisions: \n\nBuilding designs that facilitate convenient access to the bike path\nJobs that support greener industries\nA range of housing types that considers neighborhood scale\n\nWhat’s next? We are hosting an online webinar on May\, 20\, 2020 to share what we’ve heard from our outreach efforts thus far\, and present initial planning concepts to inform potential land use and zoning changes in the future.
