DESCRIPTION:From Council President Marqueece Harris Dawson: \nOne of my main priorities is ensuring that our streets are safe and that public safety is approached through a community-driven lens. We’ve seen the data showing that when drivers get pulled over for minor infractions\, it does not lead to safer neighborhoods. We also know that many of the drivers getting pulled over pretextually (stop and frisk in a car) are Black and Brown residents in LA.
