DESCRIPTION:This mural is one of the first artworks completed along the visionary Destination Crenshaw project and we are excited to share it with you! \nLocated at Dog Lovers Pet Grooming\, an iconic establishment in our community since 1980\, the mural beautifully celebrates Black children and the inspiring message\, “The World is Yours!” championing the essence of youth\, creativity\, and possibility. \nBring your family\, friends\, and\, of course\, your furry companions for a puppy play date featuring an obstacle course powered by South Park Doggie Land. \nWhen: Saturday\, August 10\, 2024\nTime: 10:00am – 3:00pm\nWhere: 5700 Crenshaw Blvd.\, Los Angeles\, CA 90043 \nThe official unveiling ceremony will start at 11:30am\, so don’t miss out! \nCome and join us for a fun-filled day featuring: \nFREE food & drinks from delicious local vendors \nAn adorable outdoor puppy play date (all dogs must be on leash and collar) \nDJ Moonflower to keep the vibes right \nFamily friendly games\, activities and a photo activation \nRaffles & Giveaways \nThis is more than just a celebration; it’s a community gathering to celebrate this act of placekeeping through our art\, as well as honor 45 years of love\, care\, and grooming excellence.
