Please join your neighbors, local business owners, and community leaders for the upcoming Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project Community Leadership Council (CLC) Workgroup Meetings and Events. You’re invited to attend and get updates about all the CLC happenings on the Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project.

Rams/ Chargers Stadium Program and Inglewood Update
Wednesday, August 1 from 1-2:30pm
You’re invited to the CLC Economic Development Workshop to get an update on the Rams/Chargers Los Angeles Stadium at Hollywood Park in Inglewood and learn about the surrounding developments. Meeting location at the Inglewood Public Library Theater located at 101 West Manchester Blvd, Inglewood CA 90301. Parking will be complimentary in the city parking lot structure located next to city hall.

CLC Metro Bridge Program Orientation Workshop
Thursday, August 2 from 10-11:30am
You’re invited to the CLC Quality of Life Workgroup to receive a mini orientation workshop to Learn About the Metro Bridge Program and the Bus Operator Training Academy! Learn about the free 2-week training program that will prepare you for an interview and job placement with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority! Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza – Community Room, 3650 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90008.

CLC Special Project Workgroup Metro Art Tour
Thursday, August 30 from 10am-12noon
You’re invited to the CLC ‘Special Projects’ Metro Art Tour to view some the artwork along the Expo Phase line. Join Metro Art Docents and some of the artists whose work is featured on the Expo Line for a free Expo Line Art Tour. We will meet at the Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project Office and partake on a round trip ride on the system from the Crenshaw/Expo station to Union Station in Downtown.

Union Station also has a new farmers market every Thursday through the end of the summer, so participants will have the option of going back to the Crenshaw/LAX Project Office or explore the farmers market at Union Station for lunch at their leisure. The tour will depart promptly from the Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project Office. Space is limited. RSVP required to crenshawclc@metro.net.
