rail to river imageMetro is working to create more pedestrian and biking connections in Southeast Los Angeles. The Rail to Rail/River Active Transportation Corridor Project is part of that effort. The project consists of one corridor in two phases of development. Segment A is the “Rail to Rail” section and connects the future Crenshaw/LAX line to the Metro A Line (Blue). Segment B, the “Rail to River” section connects the Metro A Line (Blue) Slauson Station to the Los Angeles River path. The project aims to provide a safe, comfortable, and continuous active transportation route that enhances mobility and regional connectivity for local communities. For complete project details and to access materials from the recently completed community meetings in February for Segment B, please visit metro.net/r2r.

We want to hear from you and your community! An online survey was launched on January 27 to collect input from your community to help us understand how you and your community travel and identify additional bike and pedestrian connections between the Metro A Line (Blue) and the Los Angeles River (Segment B). If you have not had the opportunity to take the survey, there is still time. Please take five minutes to complete the online survey (English/Spanish).

The survey will close on March 5, 2021.
