Unity Fest

The Park Mesa Heights Unity Harvest Fest was held by the Park Mesa Heights Community Council in collaboration with City Council District 8 and The Parks and Recreation Staff from Van Ness Recreational Park. The event took place at Van Ness Recreational Park on October 29th from 10 am to 3 pm. It was a bright sunny day filled with vendors, activities, food, and performances. There were Pumpkin Decorations, Face Painting, Vendor Roulette for Prizes, Candy Giveaway, Costume Contest, Jumpers, Board Games and an Interactive Jenga Tower.

“We are proud to put on  this event to bring our community together and get people involved in the Park Mesa Heights we all know and love. We hope it is the beginning of greater community participation,” said PMHCC President KimMarie Johnson-Roussell.

Park Mesa Heights Community Council Members Eleanor Smith, KimMarie Johnson-Roussell, Casper Reeves, Michael Guynn, Bishop and Devon Williams were on hand to greet attendees and invite their participation in PMHCC.

Thanks to the event sponsors AADAP, CD8 and White Hall Academy, vendors, and staff at this gathering. Stay Tuned for Unity Fest 2023.
