PMHCC Vice President Alison McBeth-Featherstone, who is also an Animal Services Commissioner, partnered the Animal Services team, volunteers and Councilmember Marqueece Harris-Dawson’s office for a huge clean up effort at the Chesterfield Square Animal Shelter on October 1, 2023.
The combination of reduced staff and over capacity of more than 400 dogs has resulted in need for a significant clean up effort, which was delivered by over 200 volunteers in one day!
