Project 43 held their Fall Festival November 23 with a food giveaway and entertainment in a block party format at their headquarters, 6841 Crenshaw Blvd.
During the festival, Project 43 founder Amerylus “Miss Ann” Cooper climbed on stage and gratefully surveyed the crowd.
“I am about to cry,” she said, acknowledging the people and volunteers who helped to make the block party a success.
