You are invited to join in shaping the future of Los Angeles’ water supply by participating in virtual public scoping meetings for the Pure Water Los Angeles Program.

On August 28, 2025, a document called the Notice of Preparation was posted publicly, marking a significant step in our journey. The City of Los Angeles, represented by LADWP and LASAN, will host virtual public scoping meetings as part of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) process to gather valuable input on the Pure Water Los Angeles Program.

A pre-scoping webinar was held on September 3rd at 6pm to share information on how the scoping process works. You can view the recording here.

Pure Water Los Angeles is the City of L.A.’s program aimed at creating a new supply of safe drinking water by purifying recycled water. This initiative is crucial for securing water resiliency for generations to come.
