The Community Coalition has launched a community-wide poll to better understand how residents in South Central Los Angeles feel about key issues shaping our neighborhoods, our safety, and our future.

They are asking community members to share their perspectives on:

  • The Federal Government and its current direction
  • HR1 and proposed cuts to social services — and how these cuts are impacting families
  • Immigration policy and the role of ICE
  • Sex trafficking and the safety of women and children
  • Public safety and the role of police in our communities
  • Housing affordability, displacement, and community control
  • The 2028 Olympics and its potential impact on South LA

Their goal is ambitious but necessary: to collect 5,000 completed polls by the end of March across 15 South Central zip codes. This data will help shape organizing priorities, advocacy strategy, and policy demands — ensuring that what they fight for is grounded in what our community actually wants and needs.
