The Shine LA initiative, led by Mayor Karen Bass, is a citywide movement to inspire civic pride through neighborhood beautification and community connection. In South LA, this vision is being brought to life through the grassroots leadership of Council District 8’s Adopt-A-Block program and the cultural power of Destination Crenshaw.
This is more than just a clean-up—it’s a statement of unity and care for our community.
