Lauren Halsey’s Sister Dreamer Block Party is taking over 76th & Western on Saturday, March 14, for an epic celebration of local culture.

We’re closing down the street to celebrate in community as local artist Lauren Halsey opens her sculpture garden “sister dreamer” this Saturday, March 14th! This work is an ode to the “surge n splurge” of South Central and set in the heart of our community at Western Avenue and 76th Street.

Bring your family and friends to this block party, which will include vendors from Black Market Flea, DJ’s, family games, and airbrushing. Support our local eateries with food from Bootsy BBQ, Churros El Bochito, and Crenshaw Juice Co., then end the day with a performance by the one and only Parliament-Funkadelic!
