This is a reminder of the next phase of street restoration work activities scheduled to begin on Friday night along Crenshaw Bl between 54th St to 63rd St on Crenshaw Bl and also Saturday night along Slauson Av. This work will include the placement of new asphalt paving at intersections, final striping of traffic lanes, and traffic signal improvements starting at 7pm on Friday, November 20, 2020. Full street closures will be implemented on the nights of Friday, November 20, 2020, along Crenshaw Bl at 7pm and Saturday, November 21, 2020, at 6pm along Slauson Av. The entirety of all of these work activities are anticipated to last five days.
On Friday night, November 20, 2020, starting at 7pm Crenshaw Bl will be closed at each of the intersections below, one at a time, through 7am Saturday, November 21, 2020.

Metro’s Rail Operations and Walsh-Shea Corridor Constructors (WSCC) will be working on train testing along Crenshaw Bl between Slauson Av and 48th St. Testing of trains control and communication systems will be conducted in phases over multiple months. This initial phase will be to confirm clearance and contact with the Overhead Catenary System (OCS).
Train testing will be ongoing through December 20, 2020. Testing operations will be executed as needed, between the hours of 6am and 5pm, Monday through Sunday, excluding holidays.
Crenshaw Bl Restoration between 54th St and 63rd St
Crenshaw Bl will undergo roadway restoration between 54th St and 63rd St. This work includes grinding of the existing roadway, placement of new asphalt paving at intersections, final striping of three traffic lanes in each direction, and installation of traffic signal improvements along Crenshaw Bl beginning at 7pm on Friday, November 20, 2020. This will include full street closures on the nights of Friday, November 20, 2020, and Saturday, November 21, 2020.
Lane Impacts:
Lane closures along Crenshaw Bl will be implemented with one lane of traffic maintained in each direction. Beginning at 7am on Saturday, November 21, 2020, through 5pm Wednesday, November 25, 2020.
Full Closure:
A full closure of all intersections of Crenshaw Bl between 54th St and 63rd St will be implemented starting at 7pm on Friday, November 20, 2020, through 7am Saturday, November 21, 2020.
