SoLa Impact and its nonprofit affiliate, SoLa I CAN, have launched a new educational initiative, the COVID-19 Retraining & Recovery Fund (CORE). The fund offers scholarships to South LA residents whose jobs have been lost because of COVID-19. CORE will pay for enrollment and completion of in-person or online professional certification and training program that will be in high-demand as our society adapts to a new COVID-19 reality, such as healthcare and technology.
