metro biking walking improvements
Please join us for a community meeting on Zoom to discuss bicycle and pedestrian improvements proposed for the streets near the future Expo/Crenshaw Metro Rail Station.

Metro will host two events to provide more opportunities to participate; content for both meetings will be same:

Thursday, May 20, 6:00pm
Tuesday, May 25, 2:00pm

Metro staff will present recommendations from the Expo/Crenshaw First/Last Mile Plan, which proposes street and sidewalk improvements to make walking and biking to the station safer and more comfortable. Recommendations are focused on nearby streets such as Crenshaw, Exposition and Obama Boulevards, and include adding street lights and trees, as well as possible street design changes, such as bike lanes, crosswalks and potential reductions to traffic lanes.

These community meetings will include an opportunity to provide feedback on the plan. We want to hear from you on which improvements are most-needed on your streets, as well as what would make Expo/Crenshaw Station more accessible for people walking and biking to the station.
