Composting Workshop & Food Pantry

Attention: Los Angeles Sanitation & Environment is hosting a Home Composting and Urban Gardening workshop on Saturday, March 16 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at our Constituent Services Center, 8475 S. Vermont Ave, 90044.
In conjunction with FoodCycle LA, a Pop-Up Food Pantry has been added and is scheduled to begin at the conclusion of the workshops with the intent of offering non-perishable food to up to 150 families who need it.
LASAN will also be hosting a food waste kitchen pail giveaway, offering instructions on how to use the pail to place food waste in the green bin for composting of organics.
