Public Safety Forum
April 21, 2020 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
From Councilmember Marqueece Harris-Dawson:
I am deeply troubled by the recent violent incidents in our community. These senseless shootings, leaving our residents injured and anxious, are completely unacceptable.
COVID-19 is causing so much uncertainty. We cannot allow this pandemic or violence to force us into further isolation out of fear. It is vital that we remain as vigilant and committed to one another as neighbors and friends, now more than ever.
Join me on Tuesday, April 21, 6:30pm for a critical conversation about public safety with LAPD Chief Scott. We will discuss the role of LAPD during the COVID-19 crisis as well as steps residents can take to keep themselves and their neighbors safe. The audience will also have the opportunity to ask questions. Please RSVP here and you will receive a link to the conversation on ZOOM: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/covid-19-and-public-safety-in-south-la-tickets-103080109382
