Our church has been in deep reflection as a result of recent events arising from George Floyd and Breonna Taylor’s untimely deaths–among too many other Black lives taken away too soon. Our church and its members wanted to start taking action in righting the wrongs of longstanding systemic racial injustice by promoting advancement for Black youth. So, we would like to pass along a scholarship opportunity specifically for Black students as a part of our church’s long term commitment to support, embrace and advance the success of Black lives.
