looking to do something meaningful in 2022 We have just the thing!

Are you looking to do something meaningful with 2022? We have just the thing!

“Getting involved in Park Mesa Heights Community Council has been a great experience getting to know community members, bringing organizations and people together and amplifying the voice of the people,” said Park Mesa Heights Vice President Alison McBeth-Featherstone.

The Park Mesa Heights Community Council members are officially elected as part of the Los Angeles City Charter. We are volunteers who create a forum to hear stakeholders concerns, increase community engagement, and represent the community to City Council and City Agencies.

This year we weighed in on your behalf on Transit Oriented Communities, Digital Billboards, Cannabis Reform and proposed land use developments.

In the coming year we aim to increase community awareness and engagement and invite you to help us do that by working with us on our Outreach Committee.

New proposed housing developments keep coming and we need help on our Planning and Land Use Committee to speak into how we want these developments to benefit our community. Stakeholders with real estate and development expertise would be particularly helpful here!

We plan to continue to evaluate proposed ordinances with you and make sure City Hall hears from us!

PMHCC President KimMarie Johnson-Roussell shares, “I am passionate about the great work that the Park Mesa Heights Community Council can do when we band together to represent our community.” Join us at our General Meetings the 2nd Saturday at 10am! Find out more at info@ParkMesaHeights.org
