Black Student Scholarship

Black/African-American residents of Los Angeles, who are students already been accepted into an academic program at a 2-year or 4-year college, or a trade or vocational school, which will begin or already be underway during the Spring term of 2021 and demonstrate a financial need may apply by October 15 for a scholarship.

Neighborhood Housing Services of LA County helps low and moderate income families with mortgage counseling and financial literacy education. Speed Hump Application Opens

If you are interested in speed humps for your street, be prepared to complete the application when it opens on September 16, 8am. The first 30 applications in Council District 8 will be considered.
